New outside learning centre opens today

The Victoria Park Nursery School will be celebrating the opening of its new outside learning centre with a ceremony to give staff a chance to thank those who contributed to the project, which recently saw the replacement of a wooden climbing frame and train.
The project was launched in 2010 with numerous fundraising activities being undertaken by the Friends of Victoria Park, staff and parents to help get the project on track.
The centre was awarded an outstanding Ofsted rating last year and staff hope that the new facilities will allow them to build on this success.
A ribbon will be cut by West Berkshire Council's executive for education, Irene Neill (Con, Aldermaston), at 2pm.
