Burghfield Piston Lab launches Race Room at Newbury’s Weavers Walk, powered by Forrest Motorsport

A motorsports company headquartered in Burghfield has branched out to Newbury.

Piston Lab, which started in 2018 to organise events for the car community, expanded its operation with the opening of a new Race Room in Weavers Walk, Newbury, at the start of this month.

And the company has teamed up with Forrest Motorsport to provide professional simulator sessions for motorsports enthusiasts in Newbury.

“It’s a fantastic partnership and it’s been going from strength to strength,” said Piston Lab co-founder David Ng.

The company has recently rebranded and is in the process of transforming its new space and building its new team, taking on two motorsports graduates after noticing the gap in industry apprencticeships.

The team held a soft launch on July 6 – which raised money for Newbury Rotary Club – and another event at The Podium, Bone Lane, Newbury, on July 16.
