New Travelodge to open next month
The hotel chain will open its third hotel in and around Newbury in May
TRAVELODGE is to open its third hotel in and around Newbury next month.
A new 67-bedroom hotel is to open on London Road, creating 15 new jobs in the community and an extra town centre hotel aimed at both business and leisure travellers visiting Newbury.
The hotel, which becomes the third Travelodge in and around the town after the hotels at Tot Hill Services and Chieveley Services, is located less than one mile from Newbury train station and is ideal for travellers looking for a stop over en-route to London and Bristol, according to the hotel chain.
Travelodge district manager for Wiltshire, Adam Morgan, said: “There is a huge demand for good quality budget accommodation from business and leisure travellers in Newbury, which is why we have invested in opening our third hotel in the town.”
Mr Morgan added that he was looking forward to bringing a team together to make the hotel a success, adding that Travelodge offered a training and career advancement programme to help develop its staff.
Anyone interested in applying for a role at the new hotel should send their CV to: careers@travelodge.co.uk marked with the location and role applied for.
