Newbury Building Society launches Christmas gift appeal

Giving Tree in local branches

NEWBURY Building Society has launched its Christmas gift appeal, in aid of disadvantaged local children.

The society has installed Giving Trees in several local branches and invited customers and members of the public to leave a gift under the tree, to be distributed to less fortunate children across the local area for Christmas.

Giving Trees can be found in the society’s Northbrook Street branch in Newbury, as well as branches in Thatcham, Hungerford and Festival Place, Basingstoke.

The society is also supporting the West Berkshire toy appeal, organised by Swift Couriers, of Newbury.

Unwrapped new toys, gifts and games, suitable for children of any age, are being collected at Newbury Building Society branches in Newbury, Thatcham and Hungerford, no later than Friday, December 18.
