Newbury car park kiosk blaze suspected arson





According to Gary Yorke, crew manager of Green Watch at Newbury Fire Station, one pump from Newbury was called at 5am to a car park kiosk on fire in West Street.
The kiosk was completely destroyed in the fire, which was extinguished with two hosereels.
No-one was hurt.
Police were also at the scene.
Firefighters left the scene after about 30 minutes.
Car park owner, Chris Pengilly, said afterwards it was, he said: "Business as usual," at the car park, despite the blaze.

Thames Valley Police have confirmed a 21-year-old man from Newbury has been arrested in connection with this incident and was in custody
