According to Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBSRS) spokeswoman, Ellie Gray, the fire engine was involved in a road traffic collision at just after 12:30 today.
The fire engine was travelling along the Wantage Road, Donnington, when it was involved in a head-on collision with a car. It was not responding to an emergency at the time.
