Newbury firefighters called to Thatcham kitchen fire

According to Nicole Targett of the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, one pump was called from Newbury Fire Station at 2.49pm, to a small kitchen fire at a house in Boscawen Way.
“There had been a small kitchen fire which was out before the crew arrived, no-one was hurt, no firefighting action was required.” said Ms Targett.
