Newbury firefighters rescue man trapped under van at Newtown





A spokeswoman for the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Ellie Gray, said one pump/crew from Newbury was called at 11.32am to the incident.
A man, whose legs were trapped under the van, was released by firefighters.
Firefighters left the scene at 11.53am.
South Central Ambulance Services were also at the scene.
Update 4.50pm
South Central Ambulance Service confirm the man was taken by ambulance to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, with none life threatening injuries.
The air ambulance landed but was not used.
