Newbury firefighters tackle flooded Newbury flats

According to Jim Fernie, crew manager of White Watch at Newbury Fire Station, one crew from Newbury was called at 11.40pm to Lambourn Court, Walton Way, after bath water overflowed and flooded two flats below, shorting the fire alarm.
Firefighters stopped the water supply and helped clean up the water before leaving the scene after about half an hour.
