Newbury firefighters tackle lorry with overheating brakes

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) spokeswoman, Ellie Gray, said two pumps from Newbury Fire Station were called at 10.38am to the A339 near Sainsbury’s and to a lorry with overheating brakes, after a reported smell of burning from the lorry.
Firefighters used one hosereel and an thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire, before departing at 11.06am.
