Newbury fuel company hosts children's name the tanker competition
.
Butler Fuels, local distributor of heating oils and fuels, is appealing to youngsters from the Newbury area to suggest fun and innovative names to be printed on its latest tanker.
The competition is hosted through Butler Fuels’ parent brand, Certas Energy. The winning tanker, which is based at the depot on New Greenham Park, will be visible for all to see, while on its daily delivery routes in the local area.
James Alden, regional manager at Butler Fuels, said: “We are looking for new names for our Certas Energy oil tankers and are appealing for local school children to let their imaginations run wild to help us do this.”
The winning name will then be printed onto the tanker permanently, and this will be seen driving across the Newbury area as we deliver oil to our customers.”
The competition is open to children up to the age of 11 and multiple name suggestions are welcome.
As well as seeing their chosen name liveried on the cab of the tanker, the winner will receive a £150 book voucher for their school and a model tanker.
