Newbury hair salon makes the cut at national awards

A NEWBURY salon will be hoping to blow away the competition after being nominated for Best Salon in the English Hair and Beauty Awards.

Having already won in the West Berkshire Business Awards and the Creative Head Most Wanted awards, Newbury-based hair salon, Bravo Hairdressing, is hoping to make it three successes in a row.

The awards will be announced at a black tie event on Sunday, March 20, at the Mercure Hotel in Manchester.

Salon manager at Bravo Hairdressing, Phil Jackson, said: “We made it to the finals of The English Hair and Beauty Awards last year and it’s a great achievement for the team.

“I particularly love the awards as they are nominated by the people that really matter – our customers.

“Fingers crossed that we can bring the award home this year.”
