Newbury man charged with murder following collision on Pierces Hill in Tilehurst

A Newbury man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Tilehurst last year.

This comes after a Thames Valley Police investigation of a collision on Pierces Hill on August 4, 2022.

Sheldon Lewcock, 19, died in hospital after he was involved in this collision on the Tilehurst road.

Ryan Willicombe, 18, was charged, yesterday (Wednesday), with one count each of murder, attempted GBH and causing death by dangerous driving.

Mr Willicombe was remanded in custody and appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

He will appear at Reading Crown Court today (Thursday).
