The Conservative MP later joined Year 5 and 6 children in Windsor class for a lively Q&A discussion on topics ranging from environmental concerns to the war in Ukraine.

Year 6 pupil, Arthur, asked Mrs Farris since there are so many foodbanks, whether it would be better to increase the minimum wage to give people more money.

To further encourage their political interest, Mrs Farris promised to invite the children to visit her at the House of Commons.

Mrs Farris also agreed to engage in further discussions with Mrs Lagares and other headteachers of similar schools.
