Rathayatra: Free family yoga festival in Newbury

Victoria Park, Newbury, is hosting a Rathayatra Festival for families to enjoy on Saturday August 13, writes Kyra Radley.

The day is set to start at 12noon with entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Entertainment for children includes face painting and magic shows.

There will also be Henna tattoos stalls, yoga tents, a dance show and a chariot procession.

Organisers have also promised a a free veggie feast for all served in the food tent at 2pm.

Rathayatra clebrates peace, love and unity in diversity.

The international festival is celebrated in more than 450 cities around the world and this is it's fifth time in Newbury.

The free family day will take place in Victoria Park, Newbury this Saturday (August 13) from 12noon-5pm.
