Newbury Retail Park gets new JD Sports store

The new JD Sports store will celebrate its grand opening at Newbury Retail Park on for Saturday, April 22.

Its 5,142 sq ft space will offer shoppers brands including Nike, Adidas, The North Face and Under Armour.

On the opening weekend, a DJ will provide a shopping soundtrack.

Customers can also try the JD Ballnado game and attempt to catch as many balls as possible, with one shopper winning a £100 voucher to spend in store.

Head of group acquisitions at JD, James Air, said: "We have been looking for the right store in Newbury for some time and are really pleased to be opening soon on Newbury Retail Park in a very well-located store close to McDonald's.

"It is a great sized property and will allow us to bring our full range to Newbury."

The new store will open at Unit 1b, Newbury Retail Park, Newbury, RG14 7HU.

Its opening hours will be 9am to 8pm from Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
