Crew manager of white watch at Newbury Fire Station, Alex Dallimore, said a pump from the station was called at 11.30pm to Gaywood Drive and again at 1am, to Birchwood Road, to road signs on fire.
Firefighters extinguished the both blazes using a hosereel, before departing the scene shortly afterwards.
The road signs were destroyed in both incidents.
Thames Valley Police were informed of the incidents by the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS).
