Newbury’s Got Talent: McCann’s Coffee Shop calls on aspiring entertainers to test their talent

A Newbury business is giving customers a chance to win big with its very own talent competition.

Max McCann – the face behind McCann’s Coffee Shop inside the Kennet Shopping centre – is inviting singers, musicians and entertainers of all abilities to showcase their skills to a live audience for the chance to win £100, plus a regular entertainment slot at the shop.

Each act’s performance would also be livestreamed to more than two million viewers online.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, November 16, between 10.30am and 2.30pm.

Those successful will be invited to the Semi-Final on Saturday, November 23, from noon.

The final will then follow on Saturday, November 30, from noon.

To join the competition, participants must be aged 18 or over.

Registration costs £20, and all entries must be received by Friday, November 15.

Funds from the entry costs will be awarded to the winner.
