Here’s all you need to know about what to see and do on Sunday at Newbury Show
Organisers of this year’s Newbury Show are promising it will be “bigger and better than ever before”.
The annual event takes place this weekend - Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 – and boasts a record number of livestock entries since its return in 2023.
The much-loved magnificent grand parade of livestock will be back, along with spectacular animal displays, including the one-of-a-kind Sheep Show.
There are more than 70 things for families to do at the show that are included in the ticket price, from ride-on tractors and mini diggers to a giant inflatable obstacle course and climbing wall.
This year’s show has a major new focus on motor-themed attractions and the main ring will host the UK’s number one freestyle motocross team, Bolddog FMX.
And for the first time, the show will welcome the British Lawn Mower Racing Association.
Also included in the ticket price this year is the 1909 Party on the Saturday evening.
It will feature live music from local bands, Simplicity, Swerve and Blink of an Eye.
In the main ring you’ll be able to see returning favourites, such as the British National Scurry Driving, Pony Club Games and the Parade of Hounds.
The hot air balloon ascent, weather permitting, will – as always – bring the show to a close each evening.
The countryside ring will feature the much-loved gun dogs, as well as fly fishing games and hawk walk, while the show theatre will see cookery demonstrations, as well as farming talks and Q&A sessions.
You can see the full list of timings for Sunday’s events below.
