Newbury Methodist Church boosts charity funds over Christmas period

Newbury Methodist Church's Christmas appeals raised £560 for the Kings Cross Missions' Night Shelter and £277.93 for Action for Children.

The church thanked the Yew Tree Nursery in Ball Hill for donating "a beautiful Christmas tree to adorn our services over the Christmas period".

Services included a Saturday family church with fun worship, games and treats.

Candlelit carol singing, a Christmas Eve communion and a Christmas Day service were also held.
