Newbury teen arrested following theft of items from Thatcham car

An offender gained entry to a vehicle, which was parked Tadham Place, Thatcham, by breaking a window, sometime between 9pm on March 4 and 7am on March 5.
A messy search took place, following which a handbag, clothing and credit cards were stolen.
A 17-year-old from Newbury has now been arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.
He has been released on police bail until March 20.
