One pump from Newbury Fire Station was called at 9.30pm, to a flat in Windsor Close, off Kings Road, where an 18 month-old-girl had caught two fingers in a door, on the hinged side of the door.
Firefighters used tools and small equipment to release the fingers of the girl, who was then taken care of by waiting paramedics, before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
Firefighters left the scene at 10pm.
