Newbury Town Council welcomes new CEO
Newbury Town Council has appointed its next CEO.
Tobias Miles-Mallowan will succeed former chief executive Hugh Peacocke, who stepped down at the end of December after seven years of service.
Mr Miles-Mallowan brings a wealth of experience and commitment to public service.
The town council says he will play a crucial part in ensuring local services run efficiently and will be a key point of contact for the community and other stakeholders.
Speaking about taking on the new role, Miles-Mallowan said: “As a resident of Newbury, I’m very excited to play my role in making Newbury a vibrant and thriving community.”
Newbury mayor Nigel Foot, added: “I look forward to working with Toby and the rest of the council to champion the needs of residents within the town.”
Council leader Gary Norman said; “I’m delighted to welcome Toby to Newbury Town Council to take on the vital role of CEO.
“He brings valuable experience to the position as well as a personal commitment to the Newbury community.
“I’m looking forward to working with him as we continue to deliver and improve valuable local services.”
