Newbury traffic stopped for seven police vans but...

Thames Valley Police say there are "no major incidents"

TRAFFIC was stopped at the Sainsbury's roundabout in Newbury to allow seven police vans to pass unheeded.

The incident happened at 12.10pm and the vans, in convoy, had blue lights flashing.

Thames Valley Police spokesman Adam Fisher said that, despite the seven vans, there were no major incidents in the area.
