Newbury Weekly News Hungerford edition launched
HUNGERFORD has got its own weekly newspaper with the launch of the ‘Newbury Weekly News – Hungerford edition’ especially for the Hungerford and Lambourn Valley areas.
The ‘Newbury Weekly News – Hungerford edition’ has its own front page devoted to news from the Hungerford area, and there are more pages of Hungerford area news inside, along with a back page slot for a Hungerford area sports story of the week.
This week, there’s news of how the town plans to reward it’s most deserving citizens, pictures of the Hungerford annual town show and a bridge building feat at John O Gaunt Community and Technical College.
Stuart Pearce, who lives near Hungerford, tells of his “immense pride” in becoming the caretaker manager for the England national football team.
Pc Claire Drewitt brings residents up to date on police and community work locally, and Kintbury’s Coronation Hall celebrates its 100th anniversary.
In all there are five pages of Hungerford area news to inform and entertain readers this week.
