Newbury woman still serious but stable in hospital following car crash last week





Two women from Newbury were initially taken to hospital following the crash on the A4 between Kintbury and Hungerford.
At about 2.30am their green Daewoo Matiz left the road and entered a ditch before coming to rest on the verge.
Following the crash, both the female 18-year-olds were taken to hospital.
One was taken to the JR2, Oxford with life-threatening head injuries and the other was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon with back and arm injuries.
The woman with life-threatening injuries is now in a serious but stable condition.
