THE future of The Broadway toilets will be discussed at a public meeting tonight (Friday).

Thatcham Town Council has called the extraordinary meeting to debate whether it will take on the running and maintenance costs of the conveniences. West Berkshire Council is offering the loos to the town council for £1 after it announced that it would be pulling funding to make savings in its budget.

The meeting will be held in the town council offices in Brownsfield Road at 7.30pm.
