Destinations Expo at Green Park in Reading is open for any young people up to the age of 24 and parents who want inspiration about career opportunities in the Thames Valley.

You may be thinking about important GCSE or A-level choices at school or maybe in six months time formal education comes to an end and the world of work looms.

Or perhaps you’re thinking about a change of job or career after New Year. Or maybe you’re a parent coping with the emotions of a teenager about to face these challenges.

Destinations Expo will be at 100 Longwater Avenue, Green Park, Reading, RG2 6GP, between 3pm and 5.30pm on Thursday, December 8, with more than 60 businesses to talk to from a wide variety of sectors.

Each company will have a hands-on activity/taster of their business and will inform you about the opportunities that they offer young people.

Just a few of the organisations attending include 3M, Bayer, BT, Akzo Nobel, Berkshire Healthcare NHS, KPMG, Jacobs, Legoland, Panasonic, Medical Mavericks, Vodafone, Now Vauxhall, Thames Water and Wilmot Dixon.
