Newbury Topshop and Topman to close

Newbury's Topshop and Topman stores are closing down.

It is understood the stores will close in mid-March and won't be relocating anywhere else in the town.

A sign in the shared shops' window in the Parkway Shopping centre says "70% off. This store is closing."

Topshop told NewburyToday: "The Topshop Topman Newbury store will cease trading on 14th March 2020 and we have endeavoured to offer current staff other employment options within the Arcadia Group.

"Our customers can still visit the nearby Topshop Topman Basingstoke store or shop online at Topshop.com and Topman.com."

Fantastic news. More room for coffee shops and pound stores. Newbury is in desperate need of the two due to such short supply.

Pfft, Parkway is a barren featureless desert and needs some betting and charity shops!
