A34 vehicle fire north of Winchester causing delays

A VEHICLE fire on the A34 northbound between the junctions with the A33 and the A272 just north of Winchester has led to lane closures.
The incident is causing delays of 20 minutes or more on the A34 southbound.
The event is expected to clear between by 6pm with a return to normal traffic conditions.
