Newtown road closed/two taken to hospital following collision





Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services were called at 3.07pm to the single vehicle incident at Jonathan Hill, with three pumps at the scene, including one from Newbury, another from Kingsclere and a third from Whitchurch.
Firefighters cut one person free who was trapped in the vehicle.
South Central Ambulance Service was called at 2.45pm to the incident and sent two ambulance crews. Two female patients were taken to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, with minor injuries.
Hampshire Constabulary who were also at the scene confirmed the B4640 road was closed during the incident and reopened at 4.30pm.
