Next Community Forum set to discuss West Berkshire Council highways




A chance to learn more about the West Berkshire Council highways team at a Community Forum is coming later this month, writes Sofia Gilks.

Attendees will be able to discuss the work that the team carries out, covering topics such as roadworks and maintenance.

Councillors and officers from the highways team will be in attendance.

Justin Pemberton (Lib Dem, Thatcham West), West Berkshire’s executive member for public safety and community engagement, said: “This event is open to everyone and will provide a great opportunity for residents, councillors, local organisations/businesses to come together and talk about the important work that our highways team is doing to maintain and improve our road network.”

The forum will take place at Upper Bucklebury Memorial Hall, RG7 6QH on Tuesday, February 25, at 6.30pm.

Questions for the forum can be sent to CommunityForumQuestions@westberks.gov.uk with a deadline of noon on Friday, February 21.

People can attend in person or online via Zoom. There will also be a livestream on the West Berkshire Council YouTube channel.
