Next stop: Hope

Bus of Hope, which has been set up by local people, held an open day in The Wharf to introduce people to their concept and vision.
About a year ago, Enid Boyce from Kennet Christian Fellowship, Enborne Road, wanted to set up a bus that would stop in locations in West Berkshire to help people in need.
A team of church members started raising funds to buy a double-decker bus and refit it to include a kitchen and a cinema.
The bus, manned by volunteers, is there for anyone in the community who finds themselves in situations where there appears to be no hope. The volunteers will listen and give advice if they can, or the person will be referred on to an organisation that can help.
Spokesman Steven Day said that the group had received good feedback from people on the day, as well as contributions to the cause.
He said: “We felt that there were people in the community who were feeling isolated.
"This was a way of getting out to them rather then getting them to come to an organisation.
“We want to reach out across the community.”
Mr Day added that the project had had donations from local organisations, including Greenham Common Trust as well as private and anonymous contributions.
