There will be no waste collections in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane on the day of the Queen’s funeral.
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council announced that no waste, recycling and garden waste collections will take place on Monday “as a mark of respect”.
Collections scheduled for Monday will now take place on Tuesday.
The council has told residents to put their containers out on their normal collection day to allow crews to catch up throughout the week, where possible.
It also said that collections are likely to run into the weekend.
