North Wessex Downs come to Newbury library




Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in sharp focus

The North Wessex Downs will come into sharp focus at a talk at Newbury library this evening (Thursday May 7).

The history and future of the downs as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), will be the topic of a presentation and talk by Rose Somerset on this special area, known for its landscape, biodiversity and wildlife.

The free of charge talk is from 6pm to 6.45pm, tickets available at the library telephone 01635 519900.
