...not just for Christmas
The festive event promises a doggy tombola and stalls selling treats, gifts and Christmas cards. The Trust are also appealing for toys, blankets and tinned food to be brought along so that the dogs can enjoy a tasty treat for their Christmas dinner and have a toy to play with come Christmas morning.
Nicki Barrow, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury said: “Our Christmas Fayre is always a highlight of our calendar and this year promises to be another great day out for the whole family.
“With all the proceeds of items sold going towards the care of our dogs at the centre whilst they await new homes, it’s a wonderful way to raise pounds for hounds and give back their Christmas.”
The event will be held November 30 at the Rehoming Centre at Dogs Trust Newbury at Plumb Farm from 10am until midday.
