NSPCC West Berkshire's Christmas luncheon proves magical

Guest speaker at the recent (Dec 4), luncheon at Goring and Streatley Golf Club was Michael King, magician and member of the Magic Circle.
“He worked the tables with our members, demonstrating tricks which were truly magical.
He held the attention of our members, and had them in stitches of laughter throughout the lunch,” said spokeswoman, Lyn Ashworth, adding Mr King proved “A very popular speaker.”
Three stalls at the luncheon were laden with magic tricks, handbags and scarves and contemporary jewellery.
The NSPCC West Berkshire luncheon club has raised thousands of pounds for the charity over the years and holds some seven lunches a year with guest speakers at the Goring & Streatley Golf Club, new members welcome.
