Theale nursery celebrates ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted success

A nursery in Theale is overjoyed by the result of its recent Ofsted inspection.

Tigers Day Nurseries was thrilled to announce its Tigers site at Theale Day Nursery had received an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating after an inspection on April 4 — an improvement on its previous ‘Good’ rating in 2018.

The school scored ‘Outstanding’ in all categories. The inspector’s report was overwhelmingly positive, commending its “well-thought-out curriculum”, its “broad range of learning experiences” and the “exceptional behaviour” demonstrated by the children.

Management, staff and parents were also the subject of praise for their continued support and dedication to the children.

“I am so pleased we received this outstanding grade,” said owner Alison Huntley.

“My passion has always been to deliver quality childcare and this grade is a true reflection of the hard work that the staff team deliver on a daily basis.”

Manager, Vicky Attard, added: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the parents for their continued support and feedback that you have given us, and thank you to those parents who took the opportunity to speak to the inspector whilst they were here.

“We wouldn’t have achieved this grade without our wonderful children.

“They are, and always have been, our number one priority. As parents you should be proud of each and every one of them.

“I’d also like you to join me in congratulating all the staff. Without them, the nursery would not be the fun and stimulating place it is for the children. I am so incredibly proud of them.”

The inspector further noted how the nursery “works collaboratively with other professionals to support the care and education of their children and families…providing early intervention and targeted support where required.”

Operations manager, Jane Tubb, added: “I am so proud to have everyone’s hard work and achievements recognised by Ofsted.

“Our staff team have strived, through some very challenging times over the past few years, to continue to maintain the highest quality of care for our children and families.

“Our aim is, and always will be, to have the children as our highest priority and I would like to thank everyone for their continued support and hard work.”

Tigers at Theale, formerly Brightstart, provides full day to care early years children aged up to four.
