Nursery's 30th birthday buzz

The nursery hosted a tea party for the children, their parents and families with traditional party games, including a bee-themed treasure hunt in the garden.
The Busy Bees clan at Newbury joined forces with the company’s 213 other nurseries across the country in a bid to break the world record for the largest number of people dressed as bees at the same time – a record set by the company in 2009 but which has since been broken.
Each child was also given a copy of Bee Makes Tea, written by Lesley Sims and Fred Blunt, to mark the occasion.
The assistant manager Michelle Thatcher said: “Everyone enjoyed the day. It gave an opportunity for all of the parents to meet.
“Very often we are passing ships with parents, it was nice to have a social occasion with the parents and their children.”
