‘Obscene graffiti’ at Pavilion

“Obscene” graffiti has been reported at the Pavilion in Thatcham.

The Pavilion shutters were vandalised and despite being cleaned, graffiti is still showing.

A series of failed attempts at removing the graffiti has led to the roller shutters being re-sprayed.

A contractor was initially tasked with removing the graffiti and tried using a specialist product. The next step was to sand down the metalwork.

The removal reportedly did not work due to the graffiti being “some kind of acid”.
