Neighbourhood police officers get stuck into 80s themed Thatcham spring event

Thatcham Neighbourhood team attended the ‘Spring into Thatcham event last night (Saturday 26) in the Broadway.

The event, which had market stalls, street food, music and an 80s disco with a large screen, was said to have received a "great turnout".

Thames Valley Police West Berkshire shared some images of police officers getting in on the fun with PCSO Downes joining in with the "bucking bronco".

There was also an 80s themed stilt-walker and a Chewbacca walking the high street and greeting local residents.

The officer was pictured both on the "bucking bronco" and then falling off it too.
