Officers in Sian murder case re-issue Ramsbury appeal
Police again appeal for anyone poaching or lamping on the night Sian O'Callaghan's body was found to come forward
OFFICERS investigating the murder of Swindon woman Sian O'Callaghan have re-issued their appeal for information from potential witnesses in the Ramsbury area.
Miss O'Callaghan's disappearance from Suju nightclub in Swindon on March 19 sparked a major search by police and local villagers of Savernake Forest, a few miles west of Hungerford.
Police are appealing to anyone who was 'lamping' or poaching in the area of Ramsbury on the morning of March 19 to come forward.
The funeral of Sian O'Callaghan, whose body was found near Uffington White Horse last month, was held in Swindon yesterday (Monday) with hundreds of people lining the town's streets.
Meanwhile a search for the 22-year-old's bag and belongings continues but police say no further searches of Savernake Forest are planned unless they receive new information.
