Oldbury's Deli closes down

Family run town centre delicatessen shuts its doors after 17 months

OLDBURY'S Deli in Newbury has closed down with immediate effect.

The family-run Bridge Street business, owned by husband and wife team Simon and Tina Carr, opened in February 2014.

However, today (Friday) the shop was closed.

Oldbury's supplied a wide selection of cheeses, charcuterie, grocery items and freshly baked cakes and breads and also had a cafe in the shop.

It is the latest in a line of local businesses to close down.

This year, Just Add Grapes and Kitchenmonger both shut their doors and this month Bar Sport in Bartholomew Street also closed.
