Olympianist brings a spectacle to Newbury Market Place today (Sunday)

The internationally renowned pianist and avid cyclist Anthony Hewitt is celebrating the London Olympics 2012 by cycling the length of Britain, from Lands End to John O'Groats, with his piano trailing behind him in a van.
The Olympianist will end each gruelling leg of the ride by giving a recital from the back of his van, and his efforts aim to raise money for good causes.
So, if you are out and about in Newbury town centre today, or if you are at home with nothing to do, pop along to show your support for the Olympianist, who might even include some music by Van Beethoven in his programme!
The performance starts at 4pm and is due to end at approximately 5pm.
