Olympic themed festival in West Berkshire today (Saturday)

The annual summer celebration of sport and the arts will be held at Beenham Recreation Ground from 12-4pm.
There will be live music and dance performances, as well as a chance to try Zumba, Scottish dancing, belly dancing, novelty sports races and competitions.
There will also be a large selection of refreshments, including a barbecue, cream teas, farm shop and beer tent.
Local businesses will be setting up stalls with a wide range of merchandise to buy, with traditional stalls like splat the rat and a raffle.
Later in the evening there will be live music between 7-9pm.
Entry is free to the event, which is supported by the parish council, with all proceeds shared between Beenham Primary School, Beenham Pre School, St Mary’s Church and community projects.
