Georgina Blandford from Newbury is bailed while Callum Brown from Aldermaston is locked up on drug dealing charges
TWO people, a man and a woman, have been sent to the crown court on charges of drug dealing.
Georgina Blandford, aged 21, of Greenham Road, Newbury, and 22-year-old Callum Brown, of Maida’s Way, Aldermaston, appeared in the dock for a preliminary hearing at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 26.
Ms Blandford faces two charges: possessing the Class A-controlled drug, cocaine, with intent to supply it in Aldermaston on Tuesday, June 25, and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property, namely cash and designer items, in Newbury, also on June 25.
Mr Brown, meanwhile faces three charges.
He is accused of possessing cocaine in Aldermaston with intent to supply it, acquiring, using or possessing criminal property in the form of cash and designer items in Newbury and possessing cannabis, a Class B-controlled drug, in Newbury with intent to supply it.
All those offences were said to have been committed on Tuesday, June 25.
Magistrates sent all the above matters to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury at Reading Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
Ms Blandford was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
However Mr Brown was denied bail and was remanded in custody.
