Here’s where you can see 9 Hampshire artists this weekend

HERE’S somewhere worth visiting at the weekend.

Hampshire Open Studios is an annual art trail where the visiting public can meet artists in their homes, studios and galleries free of charge.

With more than 250 venues open, visitors can meet the makers direct and learn more about the work.

You can find just about every type of art and craft on offer in the county, and eight regional maps make it easy to plan a trail around studios.

You can search the website or, new this year, download an app.

Made in the Hood have returned to Westridge Studios in Highclere with an exciting mix of crafts old and new; bobbin wire lace, ceramics, fused glass, jewellery, paintings, sculpture and textiles by nine local artists.

Jane Fullman puts a modern twist on the ancient art of lace making with colourful bobbin wire lace jewellery.
