Outdoor works proposed at Brimpton House
The owners of Brimpton House have applied to make exterior alterations to the Grade-II listed building.
Owner Kate Turner has applied for planning permission and listed building consent to remove the existing modern fabric on the south elevation to create access from the boot room to the garden.
Works will also include the decoration of the existing concrete portico on the front elevation.
The owners propose to remove the vertical sliding sash, the infill brickwork and a concrete sill, which they say is modern and of no heritage value.
The application is currently being considered by West Berkshire Council, which will determine the outcome by May 2.
