Overnight closure of part of the A339 in Newbury planned

There will be a further closure of part of the A339 in Newbury this month.
The section of road between the Pinchington Lane - or Tesco - roundabout and The Swan roundabout will be closed overnight next Monday (October 25).
The 'Newtown Straight' will be shut from 7pm until 5am to allow Volker Highways to carry out additional works within the Sandleford A339 scheme, on behalf of West Berkshire Council.
Roadworks have been in place along that stretch of road for most of this year and a new road has been created towards Highwood Copse Primary School, which opened for the first time in September.
The works along that stretch of carriageway are due to be completed by the end of November this year.
