Multiple overnight M4 lane closures near Theale at Junction 12

National Highways has announced a number of lanes will be closed – on both the westbound and eastbound carriageways – at junction 12 on the M4 tonight (Wednesday), writes Oscar Flynn-Delargy.

Lane one will be closed westbound and the eastbound exit slip at junction 12 due to the planning of emergency roadworks.

Lane one will also be closed on the M4 eastbound between Junctions 13 and 12 and westbound between Junction 12 and 11 – similarly due to emergency roadworks.

The roadworks on junction 12 are scheduled to last from 8pm on August 24 to 6am on August 25.

There will be a further closure of one lane, eastbound, between junctions 14 at Hungerford and 13 at Chieveley due to emergency barrier repairs.

This closure will also be in place from 8pm tonight (Wednesday) until 6am tomorrow morning.
